Close to Nature

Relax and enjoy the peaceful island nature near one of the two private ponds, both of which are home to a great variety of the island’s wildlife which often includes a morning concert performed by dozens of birds. Many of our guests enjoy bird watching right in our backyard. Occasionally viewing Yellow Crowned Night-Herons nesting, Blue & Great Blue Herons, Green Herons, Bald Eagles, Ibis, Ospreys, Snowy and Great Egrits, and Anhingas catching fish in the ponds.

The West-End Paradise is centrally located between the east end of Sanibel Island & Captiva Island. We are only about four hundred feet from the Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge and only two miles from the entrance. Some of the island’s finest restaurants are also very close by as well as marinas, world-class shelling, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, shops, waverunners & parasailing, windsurfing, golf and 27 miles of bike trails. We also recommend visiting the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation and CROW....... or maybe just hang out at the West-End Paradise’s most remarkable beach!!!
